In 2010, Reggae in the Valley concert festival took place in Napa Valley and presented 7 bands and 12 vendors. I loved the creative freedom to brand a reggae concert for Napa Valley and went with a bold wild west theme… no grapes, no vines nor barrels. After all, reggae was (and still is) in Napa Valley and the enthusiastic community confirmed it. To support the wild west meets reggae theme, I chose earthy colors along with reggae’s red, gold and green. I designed all print media components including the posters, website design and development, e-newsletters, television advertising and lanyard badges. In addition to the event branding and production, I also coordinated the marketing promotions including radio, television appearances, newspaper and social media. I co-produced this event and managed it from securing the venue location––to vendor, volunteer and security coordination. Reggae Festival Guide magazine and Ozcat Radio were a huge support in making the event go off without a hitch.
