Easter eggs

Middle school was about when I cut myself off from hunting for Easter eggs during my family’s Easter gatherings. Continuing to hunt for them would have been embarrassing, as I saw myself  (amusingly), as a matured young lady. However, the love for hunting did not wane. Mushrooms and fungi are now my eggs. Unlike Easter eggs, the supply is abundant, hunting can occur year-round, and they are all so visually fascinating. I really lucked out that my solution for the satisfying hunt, ended up being even better. Many of these beauties I found at Pt. Reyes, California which is one of my favorite places to go hiking in the Bay Area. If you can identify any of the mushrooms, please comment below… I would love to know!
