Kristine Marie Cummins

Connecting to nature when I was a child through my exploration of Napa Valley’s Sarco Creek, was the birth of a life-long interest in both flora and fauna. Playing with dolls or sports was of no interest to me, rather, it was building forts in bushes among the bugs, garden snakes and lizards. Poison oak was the only drawback to my persistent search for the next best place to create my own little dream world. In fact, that put an end to the fun right then [bed-ridden experience]. However, I carried my love for nature into adulthood which manifested into this watercolor series.
