Web presence for small businesses, e-commerce and, non-profit websites is my passion! “I (digitally) paint the essence of people or organizations.” My goal is to take a company and give it a valuable and unique Web presence that highlights all the best features of that company, and gets the attention of potential consumers of that product and/or service. I love working with people on creating the website that they envision for themselves. I call them “projects” because it implies a venture for which it takes a wide skill-set including business research, marketing content development, user interface design and/or prototyping, information architecture, graphics production, digital manipulation, and finally coding production including CSS and XHTML and coding for search engine ranking. Through the International Webmaster’s Association, I continuously take take associated classes to improve on what I already do.

I started out as a visual fine artist and found my way to the Web in 1999. Before the Internet hit the mainstream, I graduated from Platt College of Computer Graphic Design in 1992 while also working internships at local newspapers. I landed my first graphic design job for a publishing company and that carried me to the Web in the late 90’s. My first Web job was contracting for Microsoft working on a project that ended up being sold to CitySearch.com. I developed Web packages for merchants ranging from plastic surgeons to auto mechanics; for most, it was their first Web presence. It is when I learned how to build banner ads for the Web. At this point, I have produced close to 1,000 banner ads for the Web.
